My typical day abroad

When I was abroad, my typical day would be waking up around 10 to start getting ready for my classes. I would finish class around 6 in the afternoon but have many breaks in-between. During those breaks, if I had homework to get done I would sit in our nearby Starbucks to get some work done which typically lead to me just talking to my friends with me but still being somewhat efficient. On days where I didn’t have much work to do I would go hang out in the common room of my school building. The common room was a hub for basically everyone I knew whether it be friends from Marist or friends I just had met. After my school day was over depending on the day we would sometimes grab dinner and drinks at a local pub and spend the rest of the night in. The weekends abroad were my favorite because there was two things that would typically happen for me. Our school would either take us on a field trip around Ireland so we got to get outside of the city of Dublin and see the beautiful country side of Ireland. Some places I got to go were the Erin Islands, Gallway, Howth, and London-Dairy. If I was not exploring the rest of Ireland over the weekend I was exploring the rest of Europe! Weekend trips were a very popular thing amongst my friends and I. Although many might think to be in London or Edinbrugh for only three days is too short we still got to see many parts of the city by just simply walking around everywhere. Being abroad allowed me to explore places I would have otherwise never have seen and for that I am so grateful.
